Since 2009wpagency.xyz is a boutique software and web engineering studio. We take a limited number of clients, and the person who scopes your system is the person who builds it. No handoff, no bench, no bait-and-switch, just senior engineering, owned end to end.

The studio was founded in 2009 to do engineering the way it should be done: architecture decided deliberately, written down, and built to survive its own success. Not a feature factory, and not a shop that sells you a senior team and delivers a junior one.
Since 2009 we have shipped and operated real systems, the kind you have to keep running, not just launch. That includes the 70,000-member TotallyYamaha community, carried through three platform migrations with zero data loss; the Roseville local-search system that holds an average map rank of #1 across its service area; and the Wings & Prayers Flutter app, our own product, shipped to both the App Store and Google Play from a single codebase with a server-validated leaderboard.
The thread through all of it is the same: we would rather own a hard problem completely than spread thin across many. That is why this is a boutique studio and not an agency chasing headcount.
How we staff engagements
The person who scopes your system is the person who builds it. That is the whole staffing model, and the reason we take a limited number of clients at a time.
At most agencies, a senior closes the deal and a junior inherits the codebase. We do not work that way. The engineer in your kickoff is the engineer in your repository. When a project needs specialist hands beyond the studio's own, we bring in trusted collaborators we have worked with before, openly, and the architecture stays owned in one place.
This caps how much we can take on, and that is intentional. We would rather do a few things to year-three quality than everything to launch-day quality. It is the only way to hold the standard the work is named for.
What the studio is built on
Honesty as positioning
No fabricated metrics, no invented numbers. We would rather point at shipped proof, our own apps included, than describe work we cannot show.
One owner, end to end
Scope, architecture, and delivery sit with the same engineer. Nothing important gets lost in a handoff because there is no handoff.
A deliberately limited roster
A boutique studio takes few clients on purpose. Scarcity is what keeps the standard high and the attention undivided.
About the Studio
wpagency.xyz was founded in 2009 and operates remote-first across the US and Canada. "WPAgency" is a studio initialism; WordPress is one capability among many, not the identity. Today the work spans custom software, web applications, mobile apps, and the search and performance engineering around them.
We do not compete on price, and we are not the right studio for every project. For the businesses we are right for, we are an engineering partner who owns the architecture from the first decision through year three.
