The rules of the air. Please read before takeoff.

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using Wings & Prayers ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and WPAgency.xyz ("we", "us", "our"), the developer of the App. Game content and creative direction are owned by Micostuff.

2. Description of service

Wings & Prayers is a free-to-play aviation-themed trivia game available on iOS and Android. The App includes:

  • Trivia questions across five categories: Aviation Trivia (AT), Geography Trivia (GT), Pilot Knowledge (PK), Identify the Aircraft (ID), and Stuff Happens (SH) — short narrative incidents that affect your run
  • A streak-based survival loop with milestone tiers at 3, 5, 10, 15, and 21 correct answers — each tier locks in a higher base score
  • A spinning wheel that picks the next category per question, with optional Auto Pilot for hands-off pacing after the first question
  • A daily 3× anchor — once per calendar day a fresh run pays a 3× score multiplier; miss a day and the streak resets
  • Three lifelines per run: 50/50 (fades two wrong answers), +10s (extends the answer clock), and Skip (advances past a question without scoring it)
  • A logbook of 26 progressive achievements grouped into ladders (streak ladder, variety, speed, clean play, category specialists, prestige, habit, endgame)
  • A 5-tier pilot rank ladder: Cadet → Pilot → Captain → Ace → Legend, gated by lifetime score
  • A live global leaderboard backed by Firebase Auth
  • Optional cloud sync via Google or Apple sign-in so progress survives reinstalls and follows you across devices

Wings & Prayers v12.1 is fully free with no in-app purchases and no advertisements.

3. User accounts

Wings & Prayers does not require you to create an account, supply an email address, or sign in with any third-party identity provider in order to play. On first launch, the App silently creates an anonymous Firebase user ID stored on your device. This UID is used to attribute scores to a stable identity for the leaderboard and to back up your callsign / avatar / lifetime score to the cloud.

From Settings → Account you may optionally sign in with Google or Apple (Apple sign-in is iOS-only). Linking a provider upgrades your anonymous UID to a permanent identity so a reinstall, a device switch, or a Reset progress no longer wipes the cloud copy. Apple sign-in supports Apple's "Hide My Email" feature; the relay address Apple provides functions as the identity Apple sends us. You can sign out at any time, and signing in again on the same provider restores the cloud copy.

A callsign (e.g., "Maverick-4172") is auto-generated on first launch and shown at the top of the Home screen and on the leaderboard. You can edit your callsign at any time in Settings → Pilot. Callsigns must not be offensive, misleading, infringing, or impersonating; we reserve the right to reset callsigns that violate this requirement.

4. In-app purchases

Wings & Prayers v12.1 ships with no in-app purchases. The full game — every category, every milestone, the wheel, the leaderboard, the logbook, the daily anchor — is free. We do not sell consumables, subscriptions, or premium upgrades at this time, and there are no advertisements.

If we ever introduce a paid upgrade in a future version, this section will be updated to describe its scope, price, and refund process before the upgrade is offered for sale.

5. Acceptable use

When using Wings & Prayers, you agree not to:

  • Use cheats, exploits, automation, bots, or any unauthorised third-party tools
  • Manipulate leaderboard rankings through illegitimate means (e.g., score injection, replay manipulation)
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other players' Firestore documents or our servers
  • Submit a callsign that is offensive, harassing, infringing, or impersonating
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose

Violation of these terms may result in your callsign being reset, your leaderboard entry being removed, or your access being terminated. We enforce score sanity caps server-side to keep the leaderboard honest; submissions outside the allowed shape are silently rejected.

6. Intellectual property

All content within Wings & Prayers — including but not limited to trivia questions, game design, graphics, animations, sound effects, the spinning wheel mechanic, UI/UX design, the WP Agency mascot, logos, and text — is the intellectual property of Micostuff and WPAgency.xyz, protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App or its content without our prior written consent.

7. Trivia content disclaimer

Trivia questions in Wings & Prayers are intended for entertainment and casual learning. While we make every effort to ensure factual accuracy, we make no warranty as to the correctness or completeness of any question. Aviation knowledge in particular evolves; do not rely on the App as a substitute for certified flight training, regulations, or professional advice.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

Wings & Prayers is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the App, including but not limited to:

  • The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components
  • The accuracy or reliability of trivia question content
  • The App will meet your specific requirements or expectations
  • Any defects will be corrected in a timely manner

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WPAgency.xyz and Micostuff shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

  • Your use of or inability to use the App
  • Any unauthorised access to your data on our servers
  • Any interruption or cessation of service
  • Any bugs, viruses, or similar issues that may be transmitted through the App

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the leaderboard service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that violates these Terms. Local single-player gameplay continues to function offline regardless. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will continue.

11. Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via the App's release notes. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
